E&BC Agencies began trading in 1980 as an import/export company specialising in the supply of communication equipment. We set out to source components both locally and internationally for a variety of customers throughout Southern Africa. During the 1980's E&BC Agencies decided to increase it's penetration of the 2-way radio spares and accessory market by undertaking the distribution of various well known brands within Southern Africa in addition to the sourcing of specialist products. We are now distributors for a number of local manufacturers and importers within the communications industry.

Within the context of an ever changing and increasingly competitive marketplace E&BC Agencies decided to further expand it's business scope in order to provide its valued customers with an even wider range of services. EBCOM Service was established to handle an increasing demand for technical support and turnkey solutions including the sales and servicing of 2-way radios, pagers, hi-sites and complete communication systems together with many other specialised solutions to suite the precise needs of the customer.

EBCOM Manufacturing is another important element of the E&BC Agencies product mix and focuses on the manufacture of high quality accessories for the communications industry including external speakers, boot mount cables and many other 2-way radio accessories.

Anyone involved in the communication industry will understand the importance of semi-conductors. Electrolane is able to source these specialist components both locally and internationally having established a comprehensive supplier base over the past ten years. Electrolane also specialises in the supply and distribution of Belcom (Sole Agent) and AEP spares throughout Southern Africa.

E&BC Agencies operates in a number of diverse fields ranging from the specialist underground mining applications to the man on the street who simply wants to chat to his mate on a 4x4 outing.
